ABSTRACT
At the end of Chapter 8 we discussed some of the ways that children might communicate what they had discovered about a subject, whilst the many forms of text remodelling we discussed in Chapter 7 also provide ways of communicating what we have learnt. However a major way of communicating in the classroom remains that of writing about a topic and it is to non-fiction writing that we now wish to turn.
