ABSTRACT
This paper presents a model that is being developed, in which the potentialities of the CAD systems are applied to building structural design [5].
An attempt is made at creating an integrated design system that can be applied for designing reinforced concrete reticulate structures of buildings. This integrates the structural analysis, the reinforced concrete analysis, the automatic production of writen documents and drawings, the quantity and cost estimation, and the planning of execution.
