ABSTRACT
This reading/writing activity is so useful partly because it includes all areas of language. Generated in oral language it allows the composer to try out all kinds of aspects of writing in a safe and supported way. The reading of the finished text practises real reading skills and the text can be used for reading comprehension work, as a resource for learning spellings and as a springboard for other language activities.
