ABSTRACT
In this volume we have examined diversity and change among Western European welfare states over the past twenty years. The common key question addressed in all the chapters has been whether we can still conceive of a systematically different group of Nordic welfare states, or has their ‘distinctiveness’ evaporated over time. In short, is there still a distinct Nordic welfare model?
