ABSTRACT
Imagine that you are standing at the door of the classroom which is to be ‘yours’ for the next few weeks of School Experience. It is still quite early and the children have yet to arrive. ‘Your’ classteacher is busy in another part of the school and has told you to make yourself at home. The space you are now surveying is going to be very important to you as it will be the physical setting for your teaching experience, so take a little time now to speculate on all the objects, events and social relationships within this classroom which will affect the success of your forthcoming teaching experience.
