ABSTRACT
In this chapter we make an attempt to describe some of the psychometric properties of our quality of life instrument. While we have not analysed all of the studies described within this book, data from preliminary phases described in Chapter 2, particularly phases IV and V, have been analysed, employing SPSS/PC+V2.0 (Norusis 1988), in an attempt to illuminate selected methodological issues in the progress of questionnaire development. It must be noted, however, that the following points are meant to be regarded as indicative rather than definitive. This work represents initial stages in research and much more work is being undertaken at the time of writing.
