ABSTRACT
In seeking to understand another country and learn to operate professionally in it, knowledge of the language is only the first step. Not only the national rules, regulations and procedures, but also the professional culture must be understood. It is not possible within the space available here to offer a worthwhile guide to national systems of real estate, property development and planning.
