ABSTRACT
This book is about the personal professional development of teachers and tutors or others who support teacher development. It is based upon the study of a one year, part-time, day/evening course for primary teachers who developed their teaching of science. The ultimate aim of these developments, of the teachers’ teaching, of the course and of the tutor’s role has been the improvement of children’s learning of science.
