ABSTRACT

Music is a practical subject using a wide variety of resources and, as the coordinator, you need to be well-informed and well-organised. Timetabling and accommodation, in particular, can have a significant effect on the quality and range of what goes on. Each of these topics should be addressed as part of your audit and subsequent reviews. Where appropriate you should include statements in the policy document and some kind of checklist in your ‘music folder’ as a reminder.
