ABSTRACT
Since the research on which this book is based was begun, episodes of mass exodus, regrouping and counter-movements involving migrant communities have proliferated. Volatility in the CIS region, former Yugoslavia and Central Africa were the background to three clusters of such movements in the mid-1990s.’
