ABSTRACT
Objectives for integrating tools The changes required in project management and approaches to design methods in order to achieve integration are described in Chapters 3 and 4. Current CAD applications in architecture, building and other industries that are moving towards integration are described in Chapters 5 and 6. A fundamental conceptual model for integration was proposed in Chapter 2. The purpose of this chapter is to describe the emerging computer-based tools and computer-related techniques that will ultimately make building design integration possible in practice.
