THE SET Two cuboids which have been set at the conclusion of Losing Touch. They are separate but central to the empty square, one slightly downstage of the other.
CLOWN enters juggling three balls with consummate ease, along the corridor of light. The light highlights the balls more than her body. She is ‘smiling’ at the audience. After say ten seconds, she begins to speak slowly, quietly, using the rhythm and the soft ‘touching’ sound of the juggling to point the rhythm of the dialogue. CLOWN: Once you know how, once you’ve been…taught…it’s easy.
