ABSTRACT

Werk B was located about half a kilometer from the southern border of Werk A, to which it was attached administratively and economically. In late 1941, the first groups of Jews were brought here from the Skarżysko ghetto, and every evening were returned to their homes. In the Summer of 1942, work on the camp began, and two large groups arrived, one from the town of Włoszczowa and the other from Szydłowiec. By July, internal reports of Hasag's “Labor Acquisition Department” already bore the names of Jews “dismissed” from Werk B. 1
