ABSTRACT
Accounting and emancipation: how can one possibly link these things together? At the time of writing there remain, no doubt, many who would find the very idea of juxtaposing accounting and emancipation to be somewhat absurd or ill conceived. Linkages between accounting and emancipation have for some time readily been displaced from perception. Rather, views suggesting that accounting has nothing to do with notions such as emancipation are prevalent.
