S.L.Andreski is Professor and Head of Department of Sociology at the University of Reading, England. He has held academic posts in many countries, including Rhodes University, South Africa; School of Social Sciences, Santiago, Chile; Nigerian Institute of Social and Economic Research, Ibadan; City University of New York and Simon Fraser University, Canada. His books include Military Organisation and Society (1954), Social Sciences as Sorcery (1972), The Prospects of a Revolution in the U.S.A. (1973), and Cultural Pollution (forthcoming).
