ABSTRACT
This article studies the performance of the Israeli army in the Sinai campaign and the lessons that can be derived from this war. There will be no attempt to deal with the political background which influenced events on the battlefield. Although during the campaign I served as the Chief of Staff of the Southern Command, the following reflects my personal views, not those of the IDF.
