Introduction

In these times of great racial tension, ^* it is very important for all children to have some understanding of and insight into other people's religions. This is not a book which sets out to ‘convert’ children in state schools to other faiths, but rather an assembly book that attempts to ‘inform’ children about other people's beliefs.
