ABSTRACT

Sikh men are proud to wear their turbans, as it clearly identifies their religion, as followers of Guru Gobind Singh, the last human Guru. It is important to emphasize to children that wearing a turban is a sign of strength, living like their Guru, and that Sikhs all over the world have campaigned to be allowed to wear their turbans in all sorts of occupations, where traditionally helmets or other head gear would have been worn i.e. the Police Force.
