ABSTRACT
The students could go on to look at the job of judges and magistrates or to study what goes on in court. A police officer could be invited to talk to the class.The class could discuss what falls into the category of ‘less serious’ and ‘more serious’ crimes. They could compare the criminal justice systems in different countries and the different penalties for crimes. They could also look at what happens to children under 16.
