ABSTRACT
In a one-day workshop the team made decisions about what sort of information needed to be obtained, how it would best be collected and what information could be extracted from written and observational records. Information is usually collected on all nine aspects of the pyramid (Figure 10.2) and data is collected from three main sources: existing written records, interviews with a range of key informants and interviews and surveys with the community.
