Appendix: measuring bullying with the Life in School checklist

This checklist is a collection of a number of things that might happen to a pupil in school over the duration of one week. About half of these are nice or neutral things; the other half are more unpleasant. This mixture is intended to draw attention away from the fact that the main interest is in those items that might be considered to be bullying.
