While we lack the detailed kind of data that would permit us to systematically evaluate the specific character of Israeli émigré communal activities in various places of settlement, site visits, respondents’ comments and perusal of research reports and communal documents (such as ethnic newspaper articles and Hebrew “Yellow Pages”2) permit us to make some conclusions.
