ABSTRACT

These four questions have been the core of the pilot anger management course; they deal with the emergency action which is necessary to make a pupil safe so that situations are less likely to escalate. But on their own they are quite a superficial intervention and are unlikely to effect great change unless that pupil’s personal feelings during rage are also worked on. Anger management courses have to begin somewhere and starting with the most profound but important principles are good as long as you don’t expect the penny to drop immediately.
