ABSTRACT
In the first half of this final chapter on adolescence, we will consider the impact of parents and peers on the behaviour of the young person, and discuss cultural differences during adolescence. In the second half we will look at a specific life event that effects a significant number of young people: pregnancy. As well as discussing cross-cultural differences we will consider the various outcomes that pregnancy and being a young parent can create.
