ABSTRACT

Our children have faced war and threats of war throughout their lives. Many have had friends and family members deployed for active duty; some have returned, some have not. Stark images of bloody battles and demolished cities inundate our news, instantaneously bringing the war into our living rooms, sometimes with information that our servicemen have not received on the battlefield. Casuality listings of the missing, injured, or dead are broadcast daily. Our children watch and listen. What can we do?
