ABSTRACT
Designing a complex piece of artwork involves adding objects and artwork to construct the final design. In many cases, you would like to display part of the image or artwork in the Adobe Illustrator document and hide the rest of it. However, cropping and cutting artwork or images is not available in Illustrator in a direct way; instead, Illustrator provides the mask feature, which allows you to reveal parts of the artwork and hide the rest of it using a comprehensive feature.
