a towel (you will probably want to keep a couple of towels that are used only for cleaning lace pieces), a wooden-handled toothbrush or stencil brush with natural bristles, and either 99-percent rubbing alcohol or acetone. Pour a small amount of the alcohol 4. or acetone into the bowl. Do not pour a lot, because it evaporates very quickly and you will end up wasting it.
