The most essential basic skill used to make a wig is ventilating —tying the knots of hair that will make up your hairline, wig, or facial hair piece. These knots will allow any wig or hair piece to look as though it is growing out of the wearer’s skin. Before beginning to ventilate, you need to become a little more familiar with your tools.
