ABSTRACT
After you have determined what facial hair piece you would like to make, begin by making a pattern. Use the same invisible tape/plastic-wrap method that was discussed in Chapter 3 to take a tracing of the person you are making the piece for. Follow these steps:
Place the plastic wrap covering the 1. face from below the nose to underneath the chin. Have the person you are working on hold the plastic wrap in place behind their ears. Smooth the plastic wrap under the chin and secure it with invisible tape (Figure 4-2). Make sure it hugs the shape of the chin tightly. Add another piece of tape across the face from ear to ear crossing the face underneath the nostrils. Cover the rest of the plastic wrap 2. with tape (Figure 4-3).
