ABSTRACT
Condenser Enlarger A condenser enlarger uses one or more condenser lenses to direct the light from the lamphouse into parallel rays as it goes through the negative. This type is widely used in black-andwhite printing because of its ability to produce greater apparent sharpness and because it matches the standard black-and-white contrast grades of paper extremely well. Condenser enlargers are easily adapted to make color prints using color printing filters.
