ABSTRACT

The render process converts the three-dimensional (3D) scenes to images and video animation based on the render settings. Photoshop provides a variety of render options presets that animators can reach from the 3D panel or the Render Settings dialog. This chapter discusses the render settings in the 3D panel, as well as other related options, such as the antialiasing and cross-section options. The Cross Section tool includes different settings that let animators customize how the planes cut or intersect the 3D object. At the top of the dialog box, the Presets drop-down list shows the predefined render options that animators can apply directly to the model. The render settings include five sections; each of the sections sets the render options for part of the 3D model polygon mesh. Preparing the model for final render and setting the render options for the model is penultimate step before export the 3D model or the 3D project in Photoshop.
