ABSTRACT

CINEMA 4D includes a default light every time you open a new scene. Light can be used to invoke drama, enhance modeling and spatial depth, paint a scene with color, influence textures, draw the viewer’s eye to specific focal points and much more. Lights are also instrumental in creating mood, environment and visual effects. In this chapter, we will cover many of the different uses of light for effects and some of the basic light setups including Global Illumination.
