ABSTRACT

Around 1992 I took a digital class through Weynand Training courtesy of Camera Local 600. At that time the class focused on an early image processor for video called the Harry. When the class finished, the digital video instructor and I were asked by Weynand Training and Kodak to develop course material for the Cineon digital film system. The Cineon system was a process by which film was scanned into the computer, digitally manipulated, and recorded back out to film. I leaped at this terrific opportunity to enter the high-tech world of tomorrow and learned a great deal from the experience. I remember distinctly this great turning point in technology.
