ABSTRACT
When it comes to cinematography, nothing is as shrouded in mystery to most everyone on the set, outside of the DP and the lighting crew, as lighting. And lighting is probably the most challenging aspect of learning cinematography. Part of the problem is just knowing where to begin. You're the DP, and you've got a set to light. How do you do that?
