ABSTRACT
While an extraordinary tool for layout and rich with tools for animation and interactivity, InDesign is also a wonderful tool for creating graphical elements from scratch. It includes a pretty robust selection of drawing tools that include the shape tools, the Line tool, and the Pen, Pencil, Smooth and Erase tools. These tools, combined with the power of the Pathfinder panel, make it possible to do lots of graphical work directly in InDesign without ever needing to leave the application.
