The beauty of After Effects is that almost anything can be keyframed and be unique. Several third-party developers have included automation tools in the plug-ins. This chapter focuses on the tools that either automate animation or generate keyframes for filmmakers, making their workflow faster, smoother, and all round better. There are a few plug-ins that help synchronize music to motion graphics, either by generating keyframes from audio levels or somehow reacting to the audio. These plug-ins eliminate the tedious process of timing and tweaking keyframes, allowing filmmakers to get straight to the creative part. With Trapcode Form, it is very easy to create gorgeous, complex eye candy that reacts to their audio clip. Boris Continuum Complete BCC Beat Reactor does have a lot of similarities with Trapcode Sound Keys but Beat Reactor is slightly more robust in options. Beat Reactor gives the option for up to 1028 frequency resolutions in the audio spectrum.
