ABSTRACT

If the ultimate frustration for a photographer is to pass a fantastic scene without a camera, a close second must be to have the wrong film or camera on your person at the time. This is about an image made under such conditions (fig.1). Its bold composition, dramatic lighting and unusual sky shout film camera and orange filter, followed by a toned full-scale fiber print. The final analog print, using Agfa Multicontrast Classic paper toned in Viradon, has a little judicial burning-in around the edges and at the corners.
