ABSTRACT
In Southeast England, rape fields are in full bloom throughout the month of May. The appearance of the entire countryside benefits from the fresh look of these bright yellow fields, announcing summer to be just around the corner. Few can escape the view’s demand for attention, simply ignoring it seems impossible, and no photographer can resist the temptation to capture an image of this magnificent exhibition. Color film seems the obvious choice for a scene so full of intense and vibrant color, but I wanted to try something different.
