ABSTRACT

In 2011, at the 8th Annual Los Angeles 3D Festival of the SCSC, a humorous short titled Thicker Than Water had the audience in stitches. Written, directed, and produced by Tommy Tripodes, Thicker Than Water is a sly send-up of pretentious French films. It won the Audience Favorite Award, garnering the 3D filmmaker a coveted Ro-Man statuette. It was Tripodes’s first 3D film and an auspicious stereoscopic debut.
