Sean Isroelit and Jeff Amaral: Producing 3D with High-Tech Tools and Talents

In the late 1930s, the Hollywoodland sign and its 4000 light bulbs were maintained by a mystical custodian who lived in a little shack behind the sign. The Caretaker 3D is an award-winning five-minute short—co-written by Jeff Amaral, who produced, and Sean Isroelit, who edited and directed—about this custodian, who is portrayed in the film by Hollywood legend Dick Van Dyke. It is a loving tribute to the magic of the movies as well as a promotional trailer for the Hollywood Sign Trust, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to maintain this historic landmark.
