ABSTRACT
The next time you visit a grocery store, pay attention to food packaging. Notice how almost every item has at least one photographic image printed on the label. Images are used on all types of packaging: plastic bags, cans, boxes, bottles, and paper containers. The high volume of photography on food packaging creates work opportunities for food stylists and photographers. During my career I have styled many images for packaging. If you don’t have this type of image in your portfolio, you might want to consider adding at least one.
