Most people assume that preparing a hot dog for a photograph would be easy. But honestly, styling a hot dog for photography is a challenging task. If you are a novice food stylist, you might want to turn to another chapter for a simpler project. Don’t think I’m kidding, because I’m not. When you believe you are ready for a technical food styling project, this is a good one to tackle. I will walk you through the process of styling a hot dog. Be forewarned that this shot will most likely take all day. There are numerous prep steps required to style a hot dog for photography including building at least one rig.
