ABSTRACT
There are many ways to take control of your tasks in Live without the necessity of a mouse. Let’s not forget that a mouse was not designed to be a musical instrument or to emulate human control. As a musician, you may feel more in control when you’re not tied down or limited by the mouse. Additionally, many of you are using laptops, or are sitting/standing behind a MIDI controller device. In either case, Live caters to a humanized experience with many versatile and controllable features. In fact, almost everything in Live is can be remote controlled with either MIDI or computer keys. This includes functions such as launching, switches, buttons, input fields, and variable Parameter Values, as well as controls and parameters for the Control Bar, Clip View, Session View, Arrangement View, Mixer, tracks, clips, and Scenes—virtually everything you would want to control!
