ABSTRACT
Motion picture editors are a special breed. We crave hours of meticulous crafting in dark editing labs, watching stories unfold in front of our eyes as our hands busily construct virtual realities. We love the feeling of breathing life into a scene and get a rush out of manipulating the mindset-and even the heart rate-of those who view our work. We all agree that it really is an amazing thing to start out with a blank project, along with hours upon hours of raw media, and arrive at a polished, powerful piece. And the best part is the process of arriving there.
