ABSTRACT
Now that you've set up your system, let's look more closely at each of the components of Final Cut Pro's interface and each of its panels. To do so, you must open a project that has something in it, and to do that, you need to download the project files and media from the book's website if you have not done so already. Go to https://www.fcpxbook.com" xmlns:xlink="https://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">https://www.fcpxbook.com. On the website there are a number of ZIP files, each of which contains a sparse disk image that we will work with. You will probably need to download all of them over the course of the book, but for now you simply need the first ZIP file called FCP1.sparseimage.zip. This is a fairly large file, about 500MB in size, so downloading will take some time. The sparse image itself when it's unzipped is even larger. The other ZIP files contain other sparse images that contain other projects and media files.
