ABSTRACT

When photographing food, it’s important to remember that if you use a tripod and a longer exposure, tons and tons of light isn’t necessary. Food generally stays still (unless you’re talking an action shot like pouring chocolate or a splash), so you won’t need a room full of expensive lights to shoot it. Sometimes just one small desk lamp can do the trick, and if you have a few light modifi ers you’ll fi nd that you have everything you need.
