ABSTRACT

We all have a personal reference in our minds of time as it passes. One of the most common signposts of time passage is photographs. From our shared experiences reflected in that old photo album of mom’s to the major news events, we can ascertain a position of “place” by noting these visual records. But, what if our personal, visual record could not be trusted? What if that security we derive from the sense of “place” was not fact at all?
