ABSTRACT

Summer passed and even autumn and winter came and went and spring came round, the season which heals all wounds and injuries and everything which touches mankind. It healed also the broken heart of Zebulun and in the course of time he appreciated the fact that he had done well to give his daughter to Aaron Stein who was a good breadwinner and a respected one, and who treated his wife as if she were the apple of his eye. She lived happily and graciously in his shadow, and Zebulun began to change his mind and he loved his son-in-law and gave him the dowry he had promised his daughter. He sent a carriage to bring them to him so that he could celebrate Passover with his daughter and son-in-law, with a good deal of joy and cheer.
