ABSTRACT

Some days had passed since the events that we have described took place. At a social gathering on one of the evenings of the six working days Reb Nahum called a meeting and summoned to his home God-fearing elders of the township and, together, they conferred in closed conclave on their religious position, since the skies had been so cloudy and overcast that the moon hadn’t broken through to light up the earth from the beginning of the month until that day.
