ABSTRACT
The Renaissance refers to a historical period in European history roughly between the 14th and 17th centuries. As a historical period, the Renaissance was preceded by the Middle Ages, and succeeded by the Early Modern period. The furniture featured for this chapter on the “pictorial timeline” concentrates on the Renaissance beginning with its origins in Italy, spreading across Europe to France and England. After completing the chapter the reader will decide which pieces to document and using the Analysis of Form: Nine-Step Methodology will begin the graphic analysis for the chapter.
